Lots of nice pics there too!
On the last picture you can see the Spanish pavillion by Francisco Mangado, here's a close up:

Another pavillion, but don't remember the name anymore. Will look it up in a book, but that is at my parent's house right now.

Too bad we couln't go inside, the que was about 2,5 hours for it! It is the Aragon Pavillion by the way, excuse me for bad spelling! Here's some pictures of the main Expo Building, where most of the participating countries had their pavillions in:

ArchiPim. You stated that the place was like an 'Architectural and Cultural Thema Park'. Can you expand a little here? Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? Not having been there, it seems as though there are a lot of dramatic buildings and little cohesiveness. Is this true? Is it a little contrived? A stage or theatrical building performance? Is this a new 'World park' that works great as an experience. Thanks in advance for your additional info.

all that water and nothing to swim in!

love those super tall columns, love that crazy facade - there's so much design in this that it impossible to gobble everything up at once.

thanks for the pics - it sure looks like my next archi-stop!
