I think GE data for this area is really outdated. The most recent buildings like Christian Dior is not there of course (I put a placemark to where it should be anyway), but even older ones like prada epicenter doesn't look like being there. I think this green roof (where prada is supposed to be) is something existed before prada epicenter.

This winter I have travelled Tokyo for 3 weeks. I didn't have any information about architectural things in Japan.(just wanted to enjoy delicious japanese food and nice winter weather.) But when I walked along the omotesando street under the big trees, I found many beautiful buildings there. and I looked up some infos about that. So I found this site. Thanks for this nice siter, I want to show one of my pictures in Omotesando in Tokyo.

This is the Christian Dior Building by SANAA(Kazuyo Sejima & Ryue Nishizawa)
when you walk along the Omotesando street from Harajuku JR station, you will found Dior, Tod's, One omotesando...there are many beautiful modern architectural things. Most of all, I liked the big trees in the street.

Tadao Ando's large scale residential complex, Omotesandou Hills is just added to this magnificent collection of modern architecture.

This was in a way a dirty job, whoever gets it done, it will be hated...the original structure was much too loved. Selecting popular Ando as an architect is very stratigic on the developer's part.
You can see how the area was like in a video. It is at the bottom of the official site (VIDEO ON MEMORY OF OMOTESANDOU: very heavy, or the site is simply not working well).

Sorry, I was speaking about his commercial buildings in Tokyo...??? But thinking about it, his recent Steel-Stealth (hh)style/casa commercial building was in Tokyo, Omotesandou too... ja ja ja
And this one is already a 1996 old project?
I heard lot of people talking about this building... even local newspapers
