Matchpoint-Woody Allen shows Foster's Gherhkin Office Building prominently and this great London apartment.

Yes, the appartment would look great if it wasn't for those ugly pastel colors in the walls. I wonder if those are designed by Foster too. He's done a few appartment complexes by the river and this one looks metallic enough.Originally Posted by franjayo
The new Tate Modern is also featured in the film.
I don´t know if we can consider this cinema but when i saw it i remembered this thread.
Dies anyone knows were this was shot? if it exists at all...
now that's a weird ad! nice 50's retro stuff though
i think modern/contemporary architecture in advertisment warrants another thread altogether
the sound to that strange clip is from Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut really spooky!
a pen and a paper, a stereo a tape a, me and Eric B and a nice big plate of fish, which is my favourite dish..........

Filmed in Santiago de Chile it should be by Mathias Klotz. The wooden cladding and modernist look suggest it.
The one built for the 'cubo' project maybe?

Recently saw a film called Basic Instinct 2. I'm not proud of it. It was free and there were no other choices.
That was mostly shot in Foster's 30 St. Mary Axe 'the Gherkin'. Of course the shape of the tower had a lot to do with it, and the fact that the main character played by Sharon Stone even had a lighter which was a scaled replica of the building, made the connection of the Tower and Masculinity even more obvious than it really had to be.
Crap movie. Don't watch it. Even if it is free. I wonder how Foster would have felt about the usage of his design in that film.....
