Has any of you seen the video to Robbie William's 'Come undone'?
Youtube Warning: uncut version
The house shown has a spectacular view and some hardcore wall designs. Where is it (presumably LA?), when was it built (70's?) and who is the architect?

this was the original movie before they remade it in 1998 into City Of Angels with nic cage and meg ryan.
the film takes place in war torn berlin.
i dont partuculary like this library but it gives a good cinematic effect in the movie.

Does anyone have some information on the houses from the videos "Talk about our love" by Brandy and "Cry me a river" by Justin Timberlake? I really like the pivoting door in the house in the 2nd video which was also featured in CSI Miami.
Both houses are probably in the L.A. area....

It appears that an almost complete copy of the original cut of Fritz Lang's Metropolis has been found in a small film museum in Argentina. Film historians had despaired that they would ever find a complete original version. Now, we will be able to see Lang's original vision at long last. After the restoration process, anyway.![]()

Portmeirion is an Italianate resort village in Gwynedd, on the coast of Snowdonia in North Wales. The village is located near Penrhyndeudraeth, on the estuary of the River Dwyryd, two miles southeast of Porthmadog, and one mile from the railway station at Minffordd, which serves both the narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway and Arriva Trains Wales (Cambrian Line).
Portmeirion has served as a location for films and television shows, most famously serving as The Village in The Prisoner.
Frank Lloyd Wright has visited it

I have just got my copy of 'The Architecture of Image - existential space in cinema' by Juhani Pallasmaa in the mail today. An interesting read for anyone interested in the moving image
what's that Kahn guy on about?
Looks like the BMW building by Zaha Hadid and the New York Guggenheim by FLW are featured in the latest James Bond film Quantum Solice.
Koolhaas Houselife DVD/Book has just been released.
More information here
Thoroughly recommended to anyone interested in architecture gone awry somewhere between idea and realization. Worth seeing just for the rainstorm problems!
