...showing all possibilities of Su !
The SITE about Le Corbusier (http://www.tu-harburg.de/b/kuehn/lecorb.html)
Excellent model, really like the transitions where the building grows from its structure. I am a landscape architect and new sketchup user and was wondering how to make buildings "grow" in the page presetations. Anotherwords if you had a plan view then how do you cause the presentation to grow from plan view to 3D in the page layouts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Here (http://www.int3d.com/3dscenes/savoye/savoye.html) :peace:
This model makes me remember the times I waited nights and days for the SketchUp v3 to be finally out!
aaaaah good ol' times... :D
Did anybody else had the same feeling?
I used SU 2.1 at that time, and we didn't have curved walls, nor transparency... And this Villa Savoye model was the tip of the Iceberg AtLast showed us users when we spoke on the atLast forums about SU 3!!!
...good ol' times indeed... faceted curves.... :bang head no transparency... :bang head
oh, and forgot... no follow me tool! 3x :bang head ...aaaaaah, good ol' extrude along path (CRTL + D) :D
i've been using Sketchup for a while, but i'm not a pro yet, what's the best way of learning it? Besides practise?

If I'm not mistaken this model was built by Yasser from @Last. I still yank it out and look at it every so often for inspiration.

Hej Annika,
1) watch the tutorials
2) practise
3) ask questions here and see how others do it

Thats just a great model. Just when I was starting to get tired of SketchUp, someone displays models like this and inspires me to start using it again.

Thanks For The File , Is Amazing ...
I am new a Puchpullbar. I newer knew all this cool stuff was here…:not worth
I think this is the same model that was also on the SU forums. Did some playing around with it, just for testing in Maxwell.
I love the model, and the original design. Thanks.
This is just a humble scale model under construction, placed inside itself.

nice!
That makes it [corbusier]^2!
Does it get cooler than that?

Could I suggest that you try a few more subdivisions on the table to give it a more rounded appearance and a less wide angle on the camera as it's getting distorted around the lamp base? It looks a bit staged and when did you ever see an architects desk that was THAT clean? LOL Perhaps more of the model and less of the enironment next time? Your tape measure looks out of scale but quite nice.
awesome rendering.
I would suggest placing in some Modelling equipments like cutters, glues etc. the give it a real look.
I did these about a ear ago, and I now have more modeling equipment, but if anyone has some to share I would appreciate it.
I got inspired to try another model.;)
