The second 1. prize went to As-IF Architects in Berlin for their Gallery for contemporary art.
The museum is not the classic 'white box' but a variable space in which the walls can be displaced and the lighting is highly adaptable.

Henchion, Reuter + Partner from Berlin (they also have an office in Dublin) were one of the runners up. The 'house behind the castle wall' was developed on a difficult plot next to a castle. The sequence of spaces is well designed and the views are constantly changing.
