hi, im going to buy a new pc and i like if someone who knows about that can help me.(excuse my english)
i only work with sketchup and vrayforsu.
i see this pc to buy,
intel core 2 quad q6600, 4x2,4ghz, 8mb cache, 1066 mhz bus, 2048 gb ram,and nvidia geforce 7100
this is a good pc????
please help me, i dont know anything about.
i need more ram???maybe 3 or 4 mb
its the nvidia geforce good, or i need an ATI (because OPENGL)????

Hi Santos.

I can only offer advice on two things:
GRAPHICS: In general, for sketchup Nvidia is still better than ATI. I would go for a newer card than a 7100 if possible (like 8300- should be quite cheap).
RAM: 2048mb RAM is okay for now, RAM is normally easy to add afterwards.

hy..yes its a good one..the processor is very important and you have a good one..you have too aks for a good cooler maybe a "ZALMAN 9500".. take the 4g ram,its always good to have it:)

I didnt think that Beijing was referred to as Pekin anymore.......
