View Full Version : Native SU Richard 05-10-2005, 08:16 Well I've tried and tried and this is about as good as I can get native SU. ryo 05-10-2005, 08:23 do you plan to launch a SU vs all renderers deathmatch here? :D Richard 05-10-2005, 08:24 Games already over SU won! ryo 05-10-2005, 08:35 Games already over SU won! won by IPPON! :D axie 05-10-2005, 08:51 Those cars are native SU?! Damn nice image mate. ryo 05-10-2005, 08:54 Those cars are native SU?! Damn nice image mate. :no no no: these cars are the secret MOD of Richard :D ouesty 05-10-2005, 09:16 so for confrimation does this have any ps or word manipulation??? ryo 05-10-2005, 09:35 so for confrimation does this have any ps or word manipulation??? I don't think so... This is pure SU output  takesh h 05-10-2005, 09:49 so for confrimation does this have any ps or word manipulation??? Oh, you will never guess how far Richard can go if he uses PS... :rock on: ryo 05-10-2005, 10:43 Oh, you will never guess how far Richard can go if he uses PS... :rock on: he's got lots of secrets hidden under his (haired) fingers :D JesseJacob 05-10-2005, 11:15 Richard post the file, I will do a Maxwell render. I bet it looks better! trogers 05-10-2005, 13:19 just a question on the entourage...why are the people whited out and the cars not? I've always wondered why you've chosen to show this contradictory to what most people do. In other words, I don't think it looks bad, just strange from a technical viewpoint... tr CrazyBelgian 05-10-2005, 13:59 I agree, even though I like cars, I think that in this case they become too 'important' in the image. Shouldn't all the focus be on the model? Awesome rendering by the way, I guess I have a lot of practicing to do... Richard 05-10-2005, 15:44 Ryo It has to win, it is a no button renderer. We here all the time of people asking for a one click renderer here it is. May not produce PR but does a fairly representative job and if i need to change something done no re-rendering required. Axie They are mate, and yeah still a bit of a secret, when you work weeks, weeks and weeks to develop a technique that can produce that result at 50 - 100 kb you do sometimes want to keep them a secret until you think of what you want to do with it. ouesty Nothing mate. Ryo jumped me the other day for not sticking with my original method of display so I thought I throw one back at him and see if I could improve on the way of previous. The image here below is typical, rather no frills but works a treat (trick is 80 / 20 on the shadows, edges off, no transparency on the glass). Takesh Thanks mate, I wouldn't say I know my way around PS at all though. Ryo It's the chest and back mate, not the fingers. JJ Thing is mate, would it with the lack of detail, and in the same time? Trogers Agree whole heartedly, just need to get some better entourage (here I go again)! Crazy Thanks mate, again! I used to just use white cars, might consider a return. Or something else! :wondering ryo 05-10-2005, 15:52 I still think your style is very personal. I mean, I've never seen that on another thread, nor on AtLast forums... Here in the office we often used to talk about 'richardstyle' render with Michel  jake 05-10-2005, 16:17 I still think your style is very personal. I mean, I've never seen that on another thread, nor on AtLast forums... Here in the office we often used to talk about 'richardstyle' render with Michel  Let's steal 'Richardsonian'. That isn't get much use nowadays. trogers 05-10-2005, 16:38 yeah, I'd just make your vehicles white...they don't need to lose detail and lines, but simply losing the color might be the only thing necessary to do. I'm such a fan of your white people, though, so I may be biased... tr ryo 05-10-2005, 17:05 yeah, I'd just make your vehicles white...they don't need to lose detail and lines, but simply losing the color might be the only thing necessary to do. I'm such a fan of your white people, though, so I may be biased... tr everything on this forum tend to lead to biased vision... We're supposed to talk about a building and we find ourselves talking about the colour of the cars, just like when we're supposed to talk about linux and we end talking about japanese fried dumplings... :D    trogers 05-10-2005, 17:17 ahh...rabbit trails... and I'm only nit picking...you have to find something to improve in everything, no? Native SU can be such a beautiful thing. Especially when it comes to Richard's output. Perhaps the reason the white entourage works well, IMO, is due to the white accents of Richard's - pardon the use of the word, but I can't think of anything better at the moment - style? tr sigue2000 05-10-2005, 17:17 everything on this forum tend to lead to biased vision... I'd like to learn how to cook 'arroz negro' (black paella tinted with squid ink) :D jake 06-10-2005, 01:59 Calamari en su Tinta. Had a big plate of that last week, along with calamari allioli, albondigas, and countless other tapas all washed down with a pitcher of sangria. jake 06-10-2005, 02:06 recipe!!! promise? :D I don't cook paella very often or I'd give you the recipe. I go to a great little Spanish restaurant in my town within 6 blocks of my house. http://www.donquijoterestaurant-in.com/ Carlos and Elena have the best food in town. He has a Calamari Allioli that is unbelievable. JesseJacob 06-10-2005, 03:45 JJ Thing is mate, would it with the lack of detail, and in the same time? Give me ten minutes. primocordara 06-10-2005, 04:50 Black paella Ingredients: 30 ink of octopus. 8 Kg. of clean squid. 6 Kg. of shrimp. 3 Kg. of octopus stew. 8 sweet red peppers. 3 tomatoes ball. 1/2 garlic bulb. 5 Kgs. of rice for paella or previously stew. 1 Liter of olive oil. Water (the necessary one). 3 Kg. of clam. 2 Kg. of mussels. Procedure: Chop the garlic and then the onion and begin to fry in the olive oil, then is grind in the blender the sweet red pepper and fry it for 30 minutes. Add the 3 tomatoes chopped so that they fry also, this then is set apart. In the Paellera half a litre of oil is put and the octopuses, the squids and the shrimp to fry for 20 minutes. Later it is added the prepared of the pepper, the ink of the octopuses previously removed and all is covered with water, is left to cook 30 minutes to 45 degrees of temperature, so that they absorb the water and the rice is cooked. Finally cover it with role aluminium. Note: If is seen that the paella is very dry it can be added the remainder of the olive oil and is left other 10 minutes so that it gets a little greasy. Bon apetit...! Richard 06-10-2005, 07:17 Ryo Mate you should post the sailing club thread again, it truely was one of the all time classics! Trogers Mate I think I might go with you on the white cars, they with the white people help to display only that which is permanent. |
