Hello everyone!

I originally came here thinking that I might be able to advertise here,
although I realize that this would be wrong. I think that would ruin the purity of this knowledge based community. Instead I would like to start a conversation about building a client list. My problem right now is finding clients. Our business is an international architectural rendering service ....

In what ways would you recommend finding clients in the Architecture field?
I have had difficulty finding the types of clients that are actually in need of our service?
Can you help? In return I hope that this dialogue will help others .

Thank you very much for your precious advice, i would really appreciate your help.

Lovely days,

Sue

I think this is the right approach for the forum. Of course this would be a good place to find clients. You might get some replies. Traditionally advertising is frowned upon here...

Why don't you look through the Architects & Designers database for Architects whose websites have bad quality renderings or none at all. You could then drop them a friendly email listing the services you provide.

I think that you've probably bit off the hardest client base to reach: the international one. Without a regular (I wanted to use local here, but this day and age it can also be regional) network base to keep you sustained, you may have difficulty breaking into an international market. Most firms that succeed fill a niche or have a remarkable "identity" to help give something you cannot get anywhere else.

Why have you chosen to be an international firm? What would you say your best attributes are? How are you showcasing them?

hello Phoenix3D,

Are you a member of The American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI)?
asai link (http://www.asai.org/)

Would you join this organization?

The American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI), is a non-profit international professional organization of architectural illustrators, whose goals are to foster communication among architectural illustrators, to raise the standards of architectural illustration and to acquaint the public with the importance of such drawing as integral to the practice of architecture.

Hi thank you very much for your attention and questions.

First, our domestic markets background make our service and quality have been matured enough to exploring international markets. Also, we won't just communicate with clients by this single way-- sending email, calling... we will open some branch offices in some countries when we have steady collaboration with some associcates. But the currently problem is: We are young and we are on the way of EXPLORINF...

Another important thing, we have been ready for serving the international clients. For example,we know the communication is very important if doing the international market, to keep the throug communication between the desingers or architects and our renders, after sign on the distract we will dispach a professional project assistant to work for you till get your final approval. So do not worry about the language problems, our project assistants are all had experienced cooworked with some international famous design firms: HOK, OMA, and NBBJ...

We get the high reputation not just the price, but also our service and quality and on time delivery. So we are confident in our team's ability to have collaboration with international firms.

I just finished a portfolio about our company, about the service procedures, but i am not sure if i can upload it here... I am sure you will understand our work process very well from it...

I think judging by the deftness with which you handled this thread you will be very successful.

You are totally welcome to post a link to your site, people often do this and I for one would be intersted to see what you do - so I think it's not advertising. (Hope I'm not speaking out of turn here mods)

A good and acceptable way of doing this is putting your site adress in your posts signature.
