At 7.30pm Channel 7’s (Prime Television for regional viewers) Better Homes and Gardens TV launches nationally a new series of segments devoted to architect-designed houses around the country. Working with the RAIA, the program has chosen a range of houses entered into the 2005 RAIA Architecture Awards program from every state and territory. Two projects will be featured each Friday night over coming weeks – starting tomorrow with houses from the ACT and the Northern Territory. The segment will, on occasion, also feature an interview with the relevant architect.

7:30pm Friday nights.

thanks for the tip... i'll have to tune in.. it really annoys me how little coverage arch gets in oz in the main stream media. in melbourne it seems you only get coverage if its a large public building and people hate it.... anyway.. i'll tune and see what it's like...

Its done by the same guys who did the TV show "Great Australian Sandcastles" on Foxtel, that show was 5 star.

We will have to wait and see.

Didn't miss out on much JP. Usual australian popular crap. No interview with the architect or client, no review of budget brief, time or quality. No ESD review jsut pretty shallow "oh look at this big window" crap. Very dissapointing and only 2 houses per week being shown - last night was an ACT V's NT vote off.

Cheers all (at work again on the weekend) this is the last time! :puke:
