Getting there from Copemhagen city
Train to Klampenborg or Lyngby Station, then bus 388 to Vilvordevej and a 2 minutes walk to the museum. (My way back, best choice)
Or bus 169, 179, 185 to Femvejen, which is about 20 minutes walk to Ordrupgaard.

sigue2000 16-11-2007, 17:17 The gate of the museum complex.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 17:18 The park on your way to the museum entrance. You can see the two connected buildings.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 17:20 The entrance is in the new extension by Zaha Hadid.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:40 Close up of entrance.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:48 Parts of the brief seem unresolved or unfinished(?), i.e. the delivery to the restaurant kitchen. It's directly next to the entrance and looked like this while I was there. The stairs don't seem to fulfil the needs either.
The restaurant kitchen is directly under the connection between old and new museum.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:52 Closer view of the situation.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:56 Detail. I really liked the concrete colour although the quality of the surfaces and edges was a bit disappointing. There was some decay apparent at the sharp edges.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:57 Closing in on the entrance.
sigue2000 16-11-2007, 23:58 Looking up at the curve in the roof/wall.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:02 The ticket counter inside. It is prohibited to take pictures in the exhibition spaces which were convincing and had movable partition walls. I especially liked the top section which was divided into small cabinet rooms.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:06 Niche to the lockers and rest rooms.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:07 The rest rooms.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:09 Detail of the counter.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:11 Entrance into the upper exhibition space (right), path to café and multifunctional space (left).
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:12 Details of counter area.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:17 Between café and top exh. space.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:19 The benches in the museum.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:20 Danger zone.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:23 Path to lower exhibition space.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:27 Going down to the café.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:33 As the multifunctional space is only empty space most of the time, the café was extended. The room still seemed empty.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:38 Great view into the 'backyard' of the park.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:39 The real (small) café area. I loved the colour composition with the black wall.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:43 Looking back. There was a video running on the building and the ZH. At the entrance also.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:46 Going back up.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:50 Going out for a round outside.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:54 The kitchen.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:56 The old museum building.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 00:57 Looking across to the Hadid extension.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 01:00 Café from outside.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 01:02 The outside surfaces seem unfinished. Does anyone have more information?
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 01:04 The concrete was apparently pumped into the formwork from below to ensure the quality of the surface.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 01:07 Looking back.
sigue2000 17-11-2007, 01:10 Last shot.
