Got an office trip to madrid, leaving this thursday, looking for some inspirational buildings to go and see. Got Barajas Airport down already (obv!), Hotel Puerta America and the headquarters of ElCroquis.....i believe there is also a chipperfield building that exploits the use of coloured concrete. Cany anyone suggest and more that we should visit so i can do some research on them?

Thanks everyone :cheers:

Here are a few more suggestions from memory:

Prado Museum extension by Rafael Moneo (There's a thread about it somewhere);
Centro de Arte Reina Sofia by Jean Nouvel;
Mirador building by MVRDV
Usera public library by Abalos and Herreros
Madrid Regional Documentation Center by Mansilla and Tuñón
Caixaforum Madrid by Herzog and de Meuron
