I recently launched a company to manufacture and install mid century modern style outdoor buildings ( ie sheds )
I have a potential customer based in Long Beach CA. The local code requires earthquake resistant construction. As I live on the east coast this is something I'm not familiar with.
The units are based on a 4.5 thk sips panel attached to a typical floor joist structure.
If anyone here works in CA and could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.
