Hi there!
this is a question especially to the Brazilian forum members.

I just graduated as a civil engineer in architecture at the Katholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
I'm thinking of working six months to one year abroad, and Sao Paulo is my first choice.
I was wondering what the chances are to find a job with only a basic knowledge of Portuguese ( i only just started to learn). i'm thinking of firms like Andrade Morettin, spbr, una arquitetos, MMBB Arquitetos,...
Are there any international oriented firms located in Sao Paulo?

thanks a lot!

Tryptique (http://www.triptyque.com/) may be an interesting option for you, they're half french half brazilian.

The firms you listed are good choices, but they are probably not international oriented.
I would also suggest Biselli+Katchborian (http://www.bkweb.com.br/bknovo/bkweb/website/www/index.htm), Marcio Kogan (http://www.marciokogan.com.br/), Hector Vigliecca (http://www.vigliecca.com.br/) and Isay Weinfeld (http://www.isayweinfeld.com/)(I have a contact at Weinfeld's office, if you're interested).
