Does anyone have any recommendations for a Mechanical systems book? I'm interested in knowing more about Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing systems and their components in terms that can be technical, but not too overly difficult to understand. Has anyone seen/read such a book? I don't want to be able to actually size these systems, but would like to have a better understanding of how the components work with each other and be able to discuss with other professionals these component relationships.

Thanks in advance!

Mechanical and Electrical Equipment for Buildings by Ben Stein (Author), John S. Reynolds (Author) otherwise known as MEEB.

The subject you're asking about is nothing but technical. This book goes from the basic (vocabulary) to the advanced (sizing caculations). Its a large book and some including myself refer to it as the bible, but this is a good thing. I don't have the entire thing memorized, but it is my number one refrence guide on Mechanical and Electrical. Get it, you won't be sorry.

Thanks! I looked it up, it looks exactly what I'm looking for... even at 1700+ pages. (WOW!)
