Hi everyone

right now im in cordoba argentina. (I promess that in afew days iŽll post some pics of the city) IŽve been here for afew months making a studen exchange in the Universidad Catolica de Cordoba.

The clases finished last week. Its my first time traveling by my self. but i dont wanna miss the oportunity of knowing places that i might never be able to visit again. the thing is that all of my friends arent interested in traveling they just wanna go home or get drunk. and i dont.

since iŽll be going back to my hometown in mexico in afew weeks i wanna travel to afew places before i leave and i wanna go to Montevideo in Uruguay. and it looks like iŽll be going all by my self.

I know that its a 16hrs bus trip from cordoba to montevideo. so i wanna see as much as posible, i dont have a limit of days there but im kind of scared of being there by my self, all alone in the city.

What are those things that i shoudnt miss in montevideo??? the most-see-things. a lot of guys from the university had told me that its a pretty cool place, one of those places that i really have to go before i leave argentina.

any sugestions??

...i know primo is from there

I sugest you to make a stop in Colonia Del Sacramento town upon de La Plata river, it is two hours before Montevideo. Once it was a Portuguese coolony. very interesting an historical town. Then in Montevideo, you can go by the day to Casapueblo, is in Punta Ballena, near Punta del Este. Casapueblo is an organic-mediterranean architecture work by Paez Vilaró, architect and painter.
