What kind of information are you looking for?

The following are links to book lists that may interest you:

http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/Section/id-300182.html
http://www.coxegroup.com/ppublications.html
http://www.amazon.com/Total-Quality-Project-Management-Design/dp/0471307874

I suppose I'm saying your needs/topic is so extensive that you should likely get a few books on the subject to study and translate their principles into the operation of your own firm. Once you've defined your questions we can likely guide you better with information targeted toward your needs, but reading about firm management and direction is likely your best place to start.

I would suggest project management software. Although, I have never had the opportunity to implement such software, I suspect it may be very useful on larger projects.
