City of Skyscrapers will run as part of 3rd International Architecture Biennale Ljubljana: EUPHORIA, organized by the Monochrome Arhitekti. It will take place at various venues across Ljubljana from 17 to 30 November 2005. Interesting events * exhibitions, lectures, projections and round tables * will once again host internationally highly renowned architects, designers, musicians and theoreticians. The latest "euphorias" of the current social development will be presented as well as architectural projects through different media. The biennale will address questions about the position of architecture in contemporary cultural practices, about different contexts of new social and urban structures, and questions about what brands and what spontaneous creations are.
The international, competition is aimed particularly at young architects, designers, creators from the field of visual arts, researchers and others. The object of the competition is to develop the architectural concept, model of living for a City of skyscrapers.
