Hi,
I'm going to New Delhi on a short trip, are there any buildings or places of architectural interest for the contemporary enthusiast?
There is a lot to see in New Delhi, though the weather is turning very warm (close to 40 degC) now in the day time. On a very short visit I would recommend going around the Lodi Institutional Area to see some good contemporary architecture. But being a city with a lot of history, there is enough of 'non-contemporary' architecture too. Needless to say that there is also enough of the faceless international(?) architecture (all glass and aluminium and nothing else) happening too, but I assume you are not interested in that!!.:P
If you narrow your areas of interest (by building type) then maybe we can refine it further.
Can you give an idea of your time here? Maybe I could spare some time and take you around.

Hi VJ, I was already at the airport by the time I posted! Thanks for your offer, I might take it up the next time I'm there.
