Anyone from Copenhagen? :)

I'm planning my trip to Copenhagen (last week of April).
Generally I'm interested in waterfront architecture (new and post-industrial). Can you give me any examples of that kind of buildings? I made my short list including Copenhagen Harbour Bath, Maritime Youth House, FIH, DFDS Terminal, Royal Library extension, Opera House, Gemini Residence and Sydhavn project (btw is it under construction now? ).
I'll stay in Fox Hotel which can be nice architectural experience as well :D

I would greatly appreciate any info about architecture, cultural events, restaurants, clubs etc. ... :)

Copenhagen is a great city, I am sure you will enjoy your trip.

If you are going to be there for a whole week you should definately give a day to a day-trip to the Louisiana art museum. My favorite museum anywhere.

Add the Royal Library to your list as well - the "black diamond".

Do not miss Utzon's work, particularly his church, which has been documented on this website, and the Paustian furniture store, which is part of a larger industrial waterfront redevelopment project.

i'm suprised ross that u havent posted here yet. anyways....
i was there earlier this year, bitterly cold.

jorn utzon - bagsvaerd church
- fredensborg housing
schmidt, hammer & lassen - the black diamond library (extension)
arne jacobsen - denmarks national bank
- bellevista masterplan
jorgen bo - louisiana museum
zaha hadid - Ordrupgaard Museum Extension
peter vilhelm jensen klint - grundtvigskirken church
henning larsen - opera house
mvrdv - frosiloerne housing
plot architects - public baths
VM houses

there's plenty of eye candy in the recently developed docklands, but not worth anything imo.
some listed above i threw in cos i wouldve liked to see them, but in general the work by the masters is definately worth your time.

thanks guys :)
Unfortunately I'm going to be there just 3 days so I need to choose several most significant buildings for my waterfront studies due to their individual solutions influenced by waterfront situation...

Reivelt Schroeder House is just outside of Amsterdam. No where near water, but a cool 1/2 day trip on train. IMHO Amsterdam rocks!

I will be visiting Copenhagen at the end of October. There won't be a lot of time to go see architecture but I'm planing on one solid day. So if anyone wants a meet and greet or has a personal tip what to go see, you're welcome to post.

I will probably be meeting up with 2kemon while I'm there.
