Awards Program Description and Benefits of Entering:
NAHB promotes environmentally responsible and resource-efficient construction methods known as Green Building through the Green Building Subcommittee, the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines, and the annual National Green Building Conference. The National Green Building Conference is the only national conference targeted to "Green Building" for the mainstream residential building industry.
NAHB is inviting individuals, companies, and organizations to enter the 2006 National Green Building Awards competition. These prestigious Awards honor those entities who have demonstrated a tangible commitment and contribution to the principles of residential “green building”. Award entrants are eligible to submit applications for awards in the areas of green building programs, green built projects, and marketing products for the advocacy of “green building” construction. The 2006 Green Building Awards will be presented at the 2006 National Green Building Conference held March 12 – 14, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM.
