The Almeida Garrett Library was designed by architect José Manuel Soares and built for the Porto 2001 European Cutural Capital.
The building is placed in the Palacio de Cristal garden and its main feature is a sunscreen made from wooden logs protecting a glass façade, creating a background for the garden and serenely materializing one of its boundaries.

Does the picture in post#8 mean that it is opened on the top of this "between air space" between the facade and the building or is there a glass on top between?
Is the facade just held by the frame construction and on the endings of the facade?

Good sun screen design that result energy efficiency for interior lighting.
Can you show me another view from the inside of thet building ?
And i like to see view from the back side.
