[Alicante] University of Alicante, San Vicente Campus
Several well published buildings are located in a compact campus at the University of Alicante San Vicente campus, north of the city of Alicante.
How to get there: The Madrid-Alicante railway is serviced by the RENFE Estación de Madrid at Avenida de Salamanca. From Madrid it is around €36 with a 3 hour 45mins trip, 7 times daily. Bus commuting services connect Alicante with the Campus of San Vicente: 24, 36 and 37, with pre-established bus stops at several points of the city. |

I know you plan to buy the Interrail ticket but anyone else with an extremly tight budget should consider travelling by bus in Spain as it's generally way cheaper than trains. a ticket from Madrid to Alacant costs some €24 (check Alsa) and for students they give some 10% (not sure) discounts if you have the ISIC card. however the trip is less comfortable and longer (5 hours).

Kevin could get the ITIC (for teachers) but I don't know how accepted is it. How about flying? Sometimes low cost airlines are really cheap and airports are well connected.

well vueling.com might be worth consideration!! sometimes you can get a BCN-MAD ticket for just €20! and they fly to many destinations in Spain...

Kevin, did the Alicante University Museum by Alfredo Payá Benedito give you any inspiration for the competition you did along the water?

No, if you do a bit more research about the Museum, it's actually in a sunken courtyard. Here is another image i found of the teaching block |
