I once saw a book of art installations which were random lines painted on separate walls or even across entire cities or castles. from most angles they looked like random lines, but aligned to form perfect circles or straight lines when viewed from one "privileged vantage point"
does anyone know the artist's name or where i can find this book? i don't even really know how to search for it. thanks!

There was a similar installation by Stella and Gianni Miglietta at the exhibition Nel Segno di Masaccio in Florence in 2001 (600th birthday of Masaccio)
You can see the off-centre view by hoovering over the diagram. I have more photos somewhere, let me know if they can be of any use.
