Hi!
It´been a while since my first (and last) post. (not much of a poster hein?... sorry) Back then i've stated that i would like to share some of my works... so here's another. This is a project dating from 2001/2002 and constructed in 2004. The client was a young couple that felt that their fist house should be special . So they decided that they needed an... architect! (kinda new atitude to have here in Portugal...) The only demmand they had: the house should have just one floor. (and a tight schedule... ) So the idea came very fast... one floor demmand > house around a patio, inspired by roman villas with an 'impluvio'. Later the water involved came out of the equation...  Anyway the concept was quite simple: some strong stone wall with an hanging cover (slab). In between, the glass. Again, i wanted a strong image, so the project could last at the end. And this time the client helped a lot. They embrassed the project like no other before...  ----------------------------- Edit: I made a small video back in 2004, that shows the exterior of the house.
