Hi, A quick study for college. The time limit was 3 days but I already knew the conditionants. The site belongs to the University and the project should integrate with the campus.

looks cool, nice renderings. only suggestion is maybe putting something between those arches/ribs. it looks like a piece of meat with the bones sticking out. maybe add something like a fabric or mesh, or more ribs to make it feel a little more enclosed on the walkway. like the building is spilling over and onto the lawn

Thanks for posting, Jaceguay.
Can you put the images separate and bigger sized? I would like to see the plans in more detail (I can't see where is the space for conventions).
Also tell us more about your intentions.
What drove your design? Why this shape?
How it relates with the rest of the campus? Maybe some photos of the real site could help us understand it better.

Hi Jaceguay..

Your design is intriguing. I have to agree with digdoi in that I would like to understand what influenced the design and form of the building and how it relates to the rest of the University/site context.

I'm also wondering where the main entrance is?:wondering It feels week compared to the bold design of the rest of the building.

Thnx 4 posting!

hi, interesting scheme. would appreciate some design thoughts + sections too.

but do the circular patterns relate to anything inside or out? i'd scrap the horizontal band-like windows for something that embraces the circular thing. i keep thinking of that swiss cheese with holes in it... now a gym like that would be cool, although incredibly difficult due to strict rectangular dimensions of playing fields.

Looks interesting. The shape reminds me of the lines that mark the field spaces on the ground. Is that where you found your influence?

The renderings are awesome!!!! and the structure looks very interesting.
I'd like to known more about the surroundings and the response of the structural form to it.
It would be also interesting to know your intentions and thought process that has influnced your design.

And why exactly did you focus on the hoola-hoop things for your design? As it would be the last thing to come to MY mind when I think about sports...

Didn't you ever think about doing something more with the rings then just get them out of the building for guidance along the path? For example some roofing structure - at least at the middle one - to focus more on the entrance and at the same time give it some hiding-for-the-rain element?

Are you also able to post some bigger floor plans btw? :)
