Hello PushPullers,
finaly I have a good reason to start my first post here ;-)
IŽll be in 10 days in Canada for 14 days - Montreal and Toronto - and I would love to know if someone can suggest me interesting architectural stuff there or if anyone has a clue what is worth to see there.
Till now I realy donŽt have any ideas where to go to see interesting buildings and archi-stuff. So any suggestions are welcome, also good bars and discos - of course !
Thanks a lot by now ...
Andy
You should be able to find a ton of good architectural stuff in Canada...
here are two in Toronto I know of off hand:
here is a Liebeskind (http://www.daniel-libeskind.com/projects/pro.html?ID=60) one
and another Liebeskind (http://www.daniel-libeskind.com/projects/pro.html?ID=45)
also here is the link page (http://www.galinsky.com/namerica.htm#Toronto) for the galinsky guide for cities... has several mentionaed in Toronto
HERE (http://www.archinform.net/ort/1215.htm?ID=1865b88400e57f3fd2a2f9afb5d4def4) is the link for archinforms database stuff for Toronto
Link (http://www.archinform.net/ort/1217.htm?ID=1865b88400e57f3fd2a2f9afb5d4def4) for archinforms database for Montreal
this should give you a good start :)

I'd go and see Habitat '67 (http://www.pushpullbar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3295) by Moshe Safdie.
Here is a photo montage from photos I took while at the Canadian Center for Architecture in Montreal. I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. Check for hours and tour/exhibition times.

Please do post your images from the trip... just make sure to post them one project at a time :) there are several examples HERE (http://www.pushpullbar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2749) that will explain good ways to do so...
anyhow, we all look forward to seeing the pics... I wish others would post more travel pics of modern architecture... we need some more fresh stuff...
I am waiting anxiously for a suprise trip my girlfriend has planned for my B-day at the end of this month... I have no idea where we are going but she says I am really going to love it... so its either architecture related or volleyball related :D anyhow, if it is architecture related I will surely have some new pics to post...
