...and of course, your design intention as well! ;)
Otherwise the thread will be moved to "Render" section.

It seems either the 'Dennis Technique' or Piranesi. I appreciate the scale of the project, but what is the design ambition?

I guess he doesn't like his own project, he posted it in the "Back to the drawing board" section...:D

Brujah,

please edit your first post and add the minimum info required by our REQUIREMENTS (http://www.pushpullbar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2747).

I have to admitt the Dennis Technique is really getting over used, seems everyone on the @last forums have been using and abusing it.

As clever as it is I tend to think it is a technique that is suited to some but not all design styles.

welcome to the forum, but please bear in mind this is not a place to show off your rendering work

Are you trying to share the design of this hotel, or the renders themselves.

IMHO the renders, though having a rather soft feel to them, fail to convey the message a render should.

There's nothing specific that attracts one's attention in each shot, except maybe the flatness of the trees and the drabby green colour.

The washed out image actually played down on the building, and showing the overall bird's eye view don't actually convey the form or design strongly enough.

Guys, correct me if i'm wrong. I just see that the renders are not well composed enough to show off any strong points the hotel was designed to have.

I suspect it's a lack of contrast. The entire image, except for the fading sides, is of a similar tonal value. The eye can't seem to get a point to fix on.

selam brujah :)
i think the painting, you've done is really good, but i also think that the colors attract more attention than the design itself..

i really like both techniques. but i think a combination on both the dennis technique and some photoshop would make your drawing much more interesting.
