View Full Version : Horizont Shots - National Opera House Moldova
Here are some shots of the national opera house of Moldova. It can be found on Rue Stefan Cel Mare in the city centre of Chisinau (capital) The camera is horizont aperture 8 speed 1/125 konica colour film iso 100. These are my first shots with this camera and i think they are a little burnt out. But i love the film quality none the less. The building itself reminds me of the JFK building in washington if i remember correctly. I particulary like the frieze across the top with the stylised instruments.
Just after this shot i was confronted by undercover police and accused of spying ? I just said PPB and showed em my visa.

the photos look washed out, is that what you intended? Intresting structure, bot not sure how it fits in here. Any ideas?
were these cross processed shots chedda?
Im not sure of the problem with these shots there are too many variables. I believe the film was out of date although in lomo circles this is a desired effect. Otherwise the white banding in the shots is from the mechanism which was not smooth but i think is fixed now. The joy of a digital camera is you can take 100's of shots and review as you go. With the horizont its a matter of trial and error for me until i get the right formula ! I will persist though as you've shown previously kevin the effects can be stunning.
