View Full Version : Modo 201 modeling/rendering software
Anybody every heard of http://www.luxology.com/?
Software looks interesting - specifically the way materials are painted onto the 3d model. (Rendering engine looks pretty impressive too)
Has anybody ever used this product? I'd be curious to find out.

I've had a very quick play with it in the past, the modeling tools are extremely good, I'm hoping to get more of a chance to learn it in the next few weeks.
Axie,
I'd love to see what you come up with
no matter what it is........
Let me know how you like the material painting option
thanks

Yikes! Sorry about that. I'll just shamelessly rip it off. Here it is.
Thing to remember about Jake is he can use two rocks and a chewing gum wrapper to create this kind of image... although he's sure to tell you honestly about his experience with the interface; which is very valuable.

That's why I was trying to link to the thread on Architosh, he has some good impressions on the software. I'll try again later when I get a chance.

Yeah, Jake's still alive!
He's doing his thing at the Luxology forum (http://forums.luxology.com/discussion/topic.aspx?id=7228&page=5)
