This is one of my favourites and also one of my first models in SKUP. I hope you enjoy it.
Maison aux Mathes
Le Corbusier
Name : Le Sextant
Street : 17 , avenue de l' Océan
District: 17570 Charente-Maritime
Place : La Palmyre-Les Mathes
Country : France
Built: 1935
Designed: 1935
Type : summer cottage
Condition : good
Photos by : R.Saariste
Co-operating: Pierre Jeanneret
Reference : Oeuvre complète de Le Corbusier 1934-1938
Description : Holiday house for the commissioner of the salvation army building in Paris. No internal staircase. Renovated in 1952
1935
Climate - temperate
"The principle imposed upon this small house situated behind a curtain of trees was that it be as little visible as possible. As a consequence the height was reduced to 8 ft., the house was located in a corner of the site, the flat, vaulted roof was planted with grass and a very traditional material was employed: exposed quarrystone masonry."
— Hans Girsberger, ed. Le Corbusier 1910-60. p68.
This building reflects, with the Errázuriz house in Chile and maybe even with the Jaoul houses in Paris. One of the singular moments when Le Corbusier turn aside his “five points” of the architecture and produce this building focusing in the textures of the traditional materials, the technique detail and less contrasting with nature and landscape.

interesting view of the light wood panels
Thanks Merengue for sharing your first SU work!
But the roof lacks width, and the way you modeled looks not very flexible (I think to the stairs, for example): you should use groups/components to be able to modify your geometry more easily, really! :D
The house is very simple, yet cute. I can't imagine it from Corbu... :wondering
By the way, your trees are very cool as well!
keep up the good work!
