Ive been mulling over Michels modular temporary housing competition he previously posted here (although i appear to have lost the pdf pls repost) My starting point was trying to configure a unit which could be easily made and configured in many ways. My ideas have lead me to a simple box which when flipped horizontally can become a "H" shape. The void beneath can house plant or floats ,tracks or bogeys if need be. Also this half void with a little site excavation could be a carport. Perhaps starting with this module is a little limiting as now i have to design the inside to fit ? The boxes square proportions mean one stair fits all and from a small list of components an infinite pattern or design developed.Your views are eagerly awaited.

This is as far as ive got at present ive just got to figure out some modular skin for the structure so it can be adapted to many configurations . The two upper areas are starting to look like bedrooms or a study with the lower two being kitchen and bathroom ...

I am really intrigued by the modularity of the h-shape. I will soon begin a high-rise/urban development project for uni. This is something I might look into more when the time comes.

Okay the last one honest, the possibilities are endless of any density here a simple internal street... the H is definitely some sort of genetic 3d code

hmm. maybe you should stack them in a double helix form.... just a slight angle at the inside h, i'd draw it up, but i dont have SU on the work comp.
