hello everyone
i am posting after a long time

we are working on a spa design project these days and need to do a lot of research before we actually start designing it.
So i am looking for any references or internet links or books that can be useful to us.

Thanks

Architects' Data is a more apropiate name for this book!
I had a teacher that used to joke on the spanish name "misteriously translated" as El arte de Proyectar en Arquitectura (The art of project-design in architecture)!! :wondering

For this is one of the best books ever "Metric Handbook: Planning and Design Data" by David A. Adler.
Has for spa design... well there's always the Peter Zumthor Thermal Baths reference...

Both, "Neufer", and "New Metric HandBook" are not updated and the integrated programs are nto the updated with the last reseachs and needs...

They are just basic reference manuals, and for shure you won´t find any usefull references for spa dimension or programatic issues...

(I have both books)

or in Portuguese (BR) " a arte de projetar em arquitetura"

You should look at SPAS manufactures, pools sites, technical magazines...
And of course, take some days and shedule some visits to reference spas near you (request a tour with spa PR)

i think New Metric Handbook has been updated in a last few years, its now thicker and got more up to date information. i am thinking of getting it as mine is the older one

I am just beginning a project on a spa / bathhouse design for university and exploring the precedents that i can find out about.

So far, a book I have found useful is 'Spa: The Sensuous Experience'.
