Rockefeller Centre (http://www.nyu.edu/classes/finearts/nyc/rock/rock_intro.html) , New York by Associated Architects
CCTV Building (http://www.arcspace.com/architects/koolhaas/chinese_television/) ,Beijing by OMA
Wayne's World (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne%27s_World) basement studio by Mike Myers :)

As far as planning goes, acoustics are really important in studios- I worked on a soundstage that had to allow uninterrupted use for filming a 'daily drama'(read soap), regardless of thunderstorms etc. Pretty interesting constraint. Also think of distances between control rooms and studios etc. Do you want studios that look onto streets/interact with the public? Also, what is media today? With internet reporting, podcasts and bloggers, maybe it's worth taking aguess at what media might be like in 5 or ten years and trying something rather bold...

Here in Argentina there is Argentina Televisora Color (now called Canal 7) building by M|SG|S|S|S (http://www.msgsss.com.ar/) (you find it under architecture > recreational buildings > Argentina Televisora Color)
It's nice because it sets all the building below a sloped park that actually nobody uses. I couldn't find any better pictures than what you have in their website anyways.
