Architects Wilkinson Eyre completed 2005
The building is difficult to photograph in winter due to low sun & long shadows
The main entrance facade faces North & is normally in shade except for late evening.
The new building is an extension to an old Victorian (19th Century) brick building which faces the Marina & is linked to it forming a courtyard between

I was disappointed that nearly all exhibits were behind glass .. lots of reflections .. not enough interaction with exhibits ..
