View Full Version : Google earthed project
Francesco 28-12-2005, 02:39 Hello all,
Here's a house project seen from the air. I'm sure this Google Earth will become a problem if projects aren't exactly built as they were allowed.
Regards
Francesco
Francesco 28-12-2005, 02:40 Seen from a lower 'Sputnik'
Francesco 28-12-2005, 02:41 The architect
Francesco 28-12-2005, 02:43 Here's the house in the building phase
Francesco 28-12-2005, 02:44 Another one
primocordara 28-12-2005, 11:12 Well, the municipality here has been using aereal photography for years to keep track of construction and development - (and taxation).
I understand satelite pictures are used in other countries for taxing crops , farmers cannot lie on their output for tax purposes any more!
Like Primo mentioned aerial photography has been used to keep tabs on a number of things . Google earth makes information available that at one time was available either to government bodies or at a high cost . It also makes the information more accessible . I suppose now municipalities can very easily maintain digital versions and keep tabs on things .
The architect
That photo tells me you should have a chat with Richard he's vertigo friendly as well.
On the other hand if I was in that bucket the photo would show me vomiting over the side ( I hate heights ... & the thought of swinging around in a bucket as well ..)
takesh h 29-12-2005, 03:07 What's that beam in photo #3 made of? Concrete?
...and blocks themselves? Are they real stones?
I enjoy this kind of construction photos a lot. Makes me realise that even the simplest structure has so many ways to be constructed, and they are often very different from a county to a country. :rock on:
mimilapin 29-12-2005, 03:12 It's Silka , I think
silka (http://www.winpol.pl/podstrony/silka/silka.htm)
Francesco 29-12-2005, 09:15 It's Silka , I think
Not exactly, Mimi. It's "Air concrete"
http://www.ytong.com/html/com/en/ytong_products.php
I like it because there's no need to deal with cavities walls, but has to be stucated (Right word?).
Lambda (Air concrete) = 0,10 to 0,14 W/m.K
For a 30 cm wall, K is less than 0,40 W/m².K
Blocks are glued (joints 2 or 3 mm)
Lintel is a U shaped air cpncrete with armed concrete inside.
Regards to all
Francesco
Francesco 29-12-2005, 16:53 Takesh : here is the lintel principle
Why not just armed concrete ... because stucco needs a unique kind of material to be applied and also for insulating.
This house isn't finished, but here are some more photos of anbother one.

Thanks :)
Xella has two "children" - cellular concret Ytong and silikat "brick"
SILKA (http://www.ytong.com/html/com/en/silka_products.php) -
two system products - similar specificity.
I prefer SILKA- antiacoustic (isolates noises), but Ytong is very good too :)
Francesco, finished house is very nice. You have characteristic, recognizable style :not worth
Francesco 30-12-2005, 04:00 Thanks for the compliment. :)
Very appreciated from the high specialist you are.
Silicate bricks and cellular concrete are made of the same components, anyway cell. has high insulation performances that pure silicate hasn't. Cellular is 500kg/m³ (average, depending on type). Less as wood.

I thank for compliment but I am not a specialist, absolutely. I am not an architect too. I built only my first house (sold) and now I will build second :P
I plan SILKA or keramzyt concret. And biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig wood terrace :D
eheheheheh... I spotted a crate of Jupiler beer at the back of the contractor's car... or is it yours? :wondering
Not bad, contractors in Belgium are rather used to Cara Pils or Maes...

Jeez, what an eye! You are one serious beer drinker!
mimilapin 30-12-2005, 20:43 Miki is the best, but I am propably blind :P I has not remark YTONG W lintel - It's systems's YTONG element. http://murator.com.pl/forum/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif.
mimilapin 30-12-2005, 21:58 uffffffff, I do not need glasses now - It's a new picture :D
Francesco
Tiles interests me too - I like this roof :) .
Are there Z 18 S black angoba of Koramic/Wienerberger
or E 80 grey/black angoba of von Mueller/Koramic/Wienerberger
or other ?
thanks :)
Francesco 31-12-2005, 10:13 Hey Michel, you know that Jupiler and Kompactuna are magical recipes in the building industry here. Contractors boost our economy.
Tiles : I have to check, but I think they are 'Huguenot celtoises'.
Notice that the nicer I know are 'Palace' from Eternit. They have a full roof system.
Regards
Eagle-eyed Mitch... :D
Vive Jupiler (and kompacttuna)

Thanks for info Francesco :)
I like Hugenot HP10 (http://www.zamarat.iq.pl/imerys/kolory/20505p.jpg)
Hugenot celtoises (http://www.zamarat.iq.pl/imerys/kolory/30347p.jpg)
and Rheinzink (http://int.rheinzink.de/23.aspx)
I can not decide what is better for my new house ;) .
mimilapin 22-01-2006, 12:38 a propos Rheinzink - It' s really good for modern houses.
It's my favorite house in Poland
PDV Architekci (http://www.republika.pl/pdv/1_skar.jpg)
Eternit is not popular in Poland.
mimilapin 22-01-2006, 12:50 eeech, I know Francesco :)
Eternit is in Poland name Euronit
Euronit (http://www.atar.com.pl/euronit.php3#p_1)
but I do not like it - concret tiles :) .
Francesco 22-01-2006, 15:57 Mimi, will you post your plans ?
Try also this for Zn http://www.vmzinc.com/
And...why not concrete tiles ?
sandropc 22-01-2006, 16:32 Nice project Francesco and true, your style (your hand) is reflected in this house volumes, slops, lines etc. Very interesting also the walls details it appears very clean and stable. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for vmzinc adres :) I can see the product offer in
Construction International Fairs (http://www.vmzinc.pl/html/news_frame.asp) in Poznań (23 - 27 jan. '2006) BUDMA 2006 (http://www.budma.pl/en/opis/06/13/20051100060.html) . They have roofing and rainwater evacuation systems - very good :)
- my new house...
My architect (my Friend ) is very busy and I wait :) I have project in my head, but It's necessary to finish it (constructions, warming etc.)
- concrete tiles...
They are faster dirty than ceramic tiles.
would like to see the final work...^_^"I like da brick stuff...
