My girlfriend has started with a newly established real estate agency and has asked me to prepare their window cards, instead of keeping to the smae corporate theme I have pitched the idea that they be unique to the project / marketing style for each.

Here is the first three I have done for them and they are rather happy with the idea.

This is one for a child care centre, I didn't do the rendering just tried to cover up a sloppy job and make it suited to the style.

And this one for a subdivision

Richard. You just gave your girlfriend's phone number to all the guys on this forum. Girls too.

I really like them Richard. The child care version is my least favorite. I really like the first one a lot. Nice work. Way to buck the system. My whole family is in real estate and most of what I see is dreadful

Jake,

Thanks mate, The child care centre one was to have a bit of play with the fact it is a child care centre, you know all colours and toys yet tried to keep it a bit tasteful (maybe to playful though).

It's the angled photo. Everything is on a grid and this one 'playful' photo is not playing nice.

The images look good. Doesn't it suck with the printing thing. You never can tell how things will turn out until they are on paper. Happens all the time. Looks good when printed at work or at home, but send it somewhere else and it is never the same.

Definitely like 1 and 3. Interesting how people can branch off into new areas. Best of luck.

I'm actually sure given Jake's background and normal acute responses I would have been made aware that may be the case if I had asked!

Same here 1+3 are very pleasing to my eyes. ;) I don't like two because it's not as clear and you weaken your grid concept by not extending your gridlines to the edge as in the other two.
Also: the kids are not going to buy property. Your client in the case of a child care center is still the moneyman/woman.

None of us have got a chance. How can we compete with a man with such a fine shoe collection?? :D

great job richard! as always your graphic style is top notch! especially like #1 and the building lots examples... you really have elevated what is usually quite bland and downright ugly subject matter. nice touch on the business cards, too!

ps - i know what you mean about printing - what a drag!!! never know what to expect or how to anticipate it. :bang head

All lack happy people living the good life. Many Real Estate ads just show families, kids or beautifil girls in pools or recreation areas, not even showing what they are really selling. This they do because it works.

And a complete agenda on how to seduce her! (were them 8 steps?)

Remember to do the dishes too! ;)

Here is another for a Showroom / Industrial project.

Fran

Mate I would normally include those type of images myself but this agency is only selling development sites not project marketing.

Another nice one Richard. I SUPPOSE you used Excel to make the background image with the colored rectangles?!

KetchUp mate, KetchUp!

I'll post the building image to the render forum as it has to be the best I've done with SU and a less than 5 min PS job.

Hey King Dick! Check out these cards made as a design class exercise for first year students in 1994.
The idea was to decode the language of each architect and express it as a sort of presentation card.
