Foster to design Camp Nou
Foster and Partners were selected for the remodelling of Camp Nou, the stadium of FC Barcelona.

There's quite a bit of regurgitation in this project. Not only it looks a lot like allianz arena (even though it's a different concept) but also, Foster said that it was inspired on Gaudi's mosaics. In an article in spanish by Freddy Massad & Alicia Guerrero Yeste, they note how everything done by a foreign architect in Barcelona has to be related to gaudi as a way of trying to give to the project an identity of its own.

Reading up on it, its literally just a new skin around the existing structure and a new roof, with new entry points etc.
Having been there before, I can only say that it will help to close the atmosphere in, and as per the look, it does look like Hedgehog & the Moron's Allianz Arena in Munich, but with a little twist. Here's what the existing looks like.

Heres my contribution, Eto'o about to miss a penalty. The only time I was part of a Mexican wave was a the Camp Nou, great fun.
